Some stones are beautiful because they're perfect.
These aren't. Verdigris celebrates all the irregular colour, matrix and character that make Chrysocolla so compelling.
Faceted Chrysocolla drops move through shades of deep teal, mineral green, turquoise, brown and almost-black, interspersed with small Turquoise gemstones. At the centre sits a Turquoise pendant framed in silver — its natural variations echoing the colours running through the necklace.
Rather than introducing more silver through the strand, I chose hand-knotted threadwork, allowing the irregular stones and their colours to remain the focus.
