GULABI, SORT OF.

It started with pink.

And then, as usual, I complicated matters. 😁

Multiple strands of faceted Tourmalines move through shades of rose, dusty pink, moss green and earthy browns. Between them sit antique silver bar spacers that once belonged to an old silver belt — repurposed here to give all those delicate strands a little structure.

And then comes the focal point.

A large square Ruby Zoisite pendant, set in silver, its natural burst of ruby pink sitting almost perfectly against the greens. I finished it with a silver jhumka because this one needed just a little more movement.

The result is distinctly Indian without feeling conventionally traditional.

Wear it over a beautiful silk or handloom saree. Or take it completely the other way — an oversized anti-fit dress, bare neckline, this necklace and nothing else.
